I only have time to preview one quick photo before I head off to a rehearsal dinner for tomorrow’s wedding that I’m photographing.
This is the very first photo that caught my eye from Troy and Kaylyn’s wedding this past Sunday. I have hundreds of images, but this one just moved me. It’s always nerve wracking posing previews, wondering what people think of the photo. Will everyone love it as much as I do? So I’m throwing caution to the wind and posting what I love.
Congrats Troy and Kaylyn. I had a blast photographing your wedding. I will be posting your full preview this next week. Thank you for trusting me with your big day.

Craig is my husband’s younger brother. He somehow lucked out and found the most amazing woman. Nicole is absolutely perfect and I’m really excited to have her join the Lemmons family. Of course, she’ll have to decorate her kitchen in Lemons but hopefully she won’t mind too much. 😉 We Lemmons love our lemons.
They’ve known each other since they were kids. Craig is best friends with Nicole’s cousin, Kenny. Their paths didn’t cross again until a few years after they graduated high school. They found out that all along they’ve had feelings for each other and weren’t sure if the other one would feel the same way. Once their true feelings came out, they got together. They’ve been inseparable every since.
Their wedding is going to be July 25th.
Congrats you two!!!!

The photo on the right totally cracks me up. We’ve decided this should be the one for their wedding invitation. Perfection!!!

and these are because people wonder whether I do “normal” photos or not.
Yes, I do.

On Saturday, May 16th, 2009 Anne and James (aka “Jimmy”) tied the knot in Astoria, Oregon. I was the lucky photographer to be chosen to document their special day. The wedding was perfect and they are obviously very much in love.
The wedding took place at The Loft in the Cannery Pier Hotel. You can see the website here. It’s a beautiful location. Anne and Jimmy had every little detail perfectly planned out. I am totally in love with the blue shoes she wore.

her bridesmaids and her mom helping her get ready…

seeing each other for the first time. Jimmy was in awe…

a couple of formal photos of the beautiful couple..

his four groomsmen (on the right) are all brothers including a set of twins. Check out the face on the far right… love it!!
Anne chose timeless black for her bridesmaids dresses.
Simply perfect.

They are a perfect fit.

Some quiet time together before the ceremony.

the details were stunning.

The toast was one of the most entertaining I’ve seen. All the guests were in stitches. One of these days I need to add audio to my photos.

These singles were extremely ready to get hitched. Check out this action!

Simply breathtaking.

Congrats Anne and Jimmy. Thank you for having me be a part of your day. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!!
To friends and family of the beautiful couple;
Please leave comments below with your well wishes!!
Rachel and Paul are so much in love and it definitely shows. They look like they were made for each other. I did their engagement session this last week at Lake Sacajawea. They are getting married at the Community Church right across the lake, so it was a perfect spot for their engagement session. The gardens are beautiful this time of year with all the beautiful reds, greens, and yellows.
They’re a fun couple and I can’t wait to do their wedding on July 6th.
Thanks Rachel and Paul! I hope you enjoy your preview!

ALOHA!
Announcing the contest for best image of 2008. I wanted to pick one from each session, but there were just so many that I had to narrow it down. I had an unbiased opinion (my hubby) who helped me select my images.
The winner will receive a framed 16X20 of the image. Also, for anyone who votes and books a session you will receive a free 16X20 of an image from your session. You must book your session before the contest ends, though to get the super cool dealy-O.
To vote, please make a comment below in the comment box for whatever number you are voting for. Please no fake email addresses and only one vote per person. My system can track these things, so please no cheaty cheaty or your vote won’t count.
Contest will end on January 10th, 2009 at midnight.
Have fun and get all your friends, family, coworkers and enemies involved. Okay, well maybe not enemies, but you get the idea 😉
