A couple of weeks ago we took the kids out to the pumpkin patch to get their pumpkins. It’s a Lemmons’ family tradition and we go rain or shine. Thankfully it was a nice day when we went and we didn’t have to bring our umbrellas. Our local pumpkin patch has a hay ride, a petting zoo, and of course “pick your own pumpkins.”

We laughed so hard when Mr. I (my middle son) picked a green one and declared it his pumpkin. I guess he wanted to be different.

So in honor of Halloween today, here’s some photos of our adventure…

pumplkinblog1I love the colors of these!

pumkinblog2my tiny guy is such a ham!

er pumpkin. 😉

punkinblog3Mr. I stopped for me for one photo. That was it, that’s all I got of him.

punkinblog4Miss K is a pumpkin picking pro. She informed us that the closer the lines are together, the more seeds the pumpkin has!

who knew?!!

Mr. I’s “smile” absolutely kills me!!!

and check out his fabulous pumpkin. Gotta love that little boy!

the cousins!

I have known this little guys’ mama since we were kids. I was so flattered that she wanted me to do her son’s 4 month pics. She’s over visiting from out of town and brought her little man in the studio for some fun shots. We had such a nice time catching up and hanging out. I got a ton of great photos and had a blast as well. And what friend reunion is complete without lunch?! We ended up having lunch at one of my favorite places in Kelso, Azteca.

I hope you enjoy the preview!

I LOVE this hat. I need one for my studio hat collection. His very hip and cool mama got it for him.

I think his mama is so incredibly beautiful!

he had me with this smile. Seriously irresistible baby chubbies and baby smile.

hello new prop! And Mr. T looks perfect in it!

These little munchkins were a kick! Miss B was quite the character making funny faces at me and her older brother Mr. L was so well behaved. They’re both such good kids. We got a lot of great shots of the two of them!

Thanks so much for a wonderful session. I hope you enjoy the preview!

sb1so handsome!

sb2totally makes me laugh

sb3love that flower!

Her expression just kills me. It’s complete perfection!

After spending the last couple of weeks in the studio, it was really nice to get outdoors again. We’ve had so much yucky weather lately!! We got lucky and caught a nice afternoon for this session. These kids were a blast. I loved watching the interaction between them. They’re many years apart, but total friends.

Thanks Nikki for having me photograph your kiddos. It was a real treat!!

sb1such a handsome young man!!

sb4doll baby!

Perfect Christmas card photo!

my absolute favorite!

This beautiful family came to visit me all the way from Portland, OR. I’m always so excited when people choose to come to me from an hour away. It makes me feel so special!

Their baby, Miss “C” was an absolute doll baby. She was “practically perfect in every way” as Mary Poppins would say. I really enjoyed their session and I hope you enjoy the preview!!

HELLO gorgeous family!!

sb2normally 8 week olds won’t sleep for a session, but this little miss surprised me and cooperated!! Look at how precious she is!!
