I LOVE laughter.

Life is just too serious most of the time so one of my favorite things to photograph is laughter. Even better when it’s two beautiful people in love who know how to laugh and enjoy each other’s company. I’m photographing their wedding in late summer and I cannot WAIT.  They were absolutely hysterical and fun to work with. You can see the love (and laughter) in these photos.

I can’t even describe how much I love this couple!!!! They had the coolest ideas for their engagement session and took me all around Portland to the places they love to visit. We went to Powells Bookstore (which takes up an ENTIRE city block and is beyond amazing). We even got special permission to photograph in the rare book room. The staff was INCREDIBLY accommodating and we even scored our own personal parking space. It was beyond cool!!!

We then ventured on to Voodoo Donuts where they enjoyed the famous “bacon maple” donut. It’s a maple bar with a slice of bacon on top. Seriously YUMMY!!! I bought a box of donuts myself to take home to the kiddos. They were pretty excited to have donuts with cereal on top.

And finally we ended up at the waterfront as the sun set down. It couldn’t have been more fun or more perfect.

This gorgeous couple got married five years ago and they have one adorable little boy. I’ve photographed their family a few times over the last few years. Some time ago we talked about them doing a “rock the dress” session. A couple months ago we finally booked the date and had a blast. My awesome friend Amber  joined me for the adventure. We got some amazing photos and I’m excited to finally share them!!!

It just goes to show that it’s never too late to have your wedding photos done!!

This gorgeous wedding was held in Ilwaco, Washington at the Inn at Harbor Village. I had no idea this wonderful gem of a location even existed. They had the most beautiful chapel inside and the entire place was absolutely breathtaking. I get really excited every time I get to photograph at new venues and this one definitely makes me want to photograph there more!! (hint hint future brides and grooms!!).

The wedding was coordinated by Weddings and events by Muse . I was THRILLED to work with these awesome folks. They knew their stuff and kept everything completely perfect. I will definitely be recommending them to future couples!!

My beautiful, talented, and wonderful friend Amber of Amber Anderson Photography was there to shoot the wedding with me. She rocks my socks off!!!

Erika and Aeren were absolutely perfect to work with. We got REALLY lucky and got a beautiful gorgeous day on the day of their wedding. We got plenty of time to go out by the water and get some absolutely stunning photos of the two of them. I seriously can’t even describe how excited I was for some of these shots. I know I get overly excited, but the wind and the weather were just perfect. SWOON. I know, I know… I’m a total nerd.

This gorgeous wedding was held at The Loft in Astoria, Oregon. Astoria is one of my absolute FAVORITE places to photograph!! We got lucky with the weather and ended up with some outdoor photos even though it was SUPER cold out.

I had the extreme pleasure of my second shooter being my dear friend Amber Anderson of Amber Anderson Photography. She is amazing and we always have a blast when we work together.

Huge congrats to Jamie and Jarret. I’m so thankful and grateful that you selected me as your wedding photographer. I known you have a lot of choices out there and I’m so lucky to have been a part of your special day!!!
