I adored this session. We met out on property in Toutle where they keep their horse. It was a beautiful setting complete with a creek, barns, lots of land, and plenty of horses. It’s always so fun to do sessions in new places!!
I grew up out in the country (in Castle Rock) and every time I get out on a farm, it makes me miss “home.” I will always be a country girl at heart even though I live in the middle of Longview now. Someday I hope to have land again. For now I’ll just live vicariously through others when I’m on photo sessions (it’s the next best thing!).
Enjoy the quick sneak peak!!
love this family!!
check out those cute teeth!! Oh my goodness!!

and finally, the Christmas card I would do if I were them!
(LOVE my new cards I’m offering for 2009. I will be blogging about these next week!!)
I wish every person I worked with was as comfortable in their own skin as Miranda. Not only is she beautiful, she has this amazing confidence. I have no doubt that Miranda will be a successful person in whatever she decides to do after high school. She was so easy to photograph and I had a wonderful Saturday morning working with her.
If you or anyone else is considering getting your senior pictures done, don’t wait!!! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year for senior pictures and the weather is typically better than in the spring. I do still have some spots left for October, so give me a call!
I hope you like the preview!!!
This adorable 21 month old has the most beautiful sparkely eyes. I did absolutely NO retouching on the eyes. It’s completely crazy how beautiful they are. We had a fun mini session out at the Lake here in Longview. We got the good weather right before it started raining again. It was such a treat to photograph this beautiful little girl.
I hope you enjoy the preview!!
I didn’t even have to bribe her for this lovely smile!
peek a boo!
this image completely amazes me. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
seriously, those eyes!!!!
This little peanut was an absolute doll. She slept almost the whole time and was a perfect angel. She was 13 days old when I captured these photos a few days ago. She was a tiny little munckin at birth and she’s doing a great job eating and getting those cute little baby rolls. We did the session at my studio in Kelso. Having the new space is such a dream come true and so far every session I’ve done there has turned out great! While we were there, my dad came over to put up my new backdrop holders and helped me finish the studio area. I am SOOOOO close to being finished and I’ll be taking pics of it tonight!!!
Thanks so much for letting me photograph your precious bundle of joy. I hope you enjoy the preview!

This beautiful couple are getting married next July 24th, 2010. They wanted something unique and different for their engagement photos, so I scouted out a brand new top secret location for their session. I’ve learned that I work best when faced with different environments. I think these turned out great and we had an absolute blast getting these photos.
Enjoy the preview!
