This stunning couple came to me from Portland! WHOOP! I’m always flattered when folks will drive an hour just to have me photograph them.
As per usual, I think these people are absolutely GORGEOUS and I’m super lucky to have photographed them. They made my job really easy.
When I first met Ashley, I just knew we’d have a good session. She laughed at my jokes and did some extensive research to choose her photographer. After chatting with her for a few minutes, I knew we’d have a blast! (Of course anyone who actually laughs at my jokes gets double points)
I completely enjoyed doing this session and am very pleased with the results. Ashley is one awesome gal and hanging out with her and her mom for the afternoon was wonderful.
Here’s the stunning Ashley from Prairie High School in Vancouver….
I’m not even gonna lie. I was BEYOND excited at even the idea of getting flown out for a session. So excited that I didn’t even believe that anyone would actually do that for me. So yes, my most exciting adventure this year was getting flown to California to do a newborn session for my huband’s cousin’s baby (say that three times fast!!)
They are the nicest, sweetest people and I was thrilled that they even wanted me to photograph their brand new little guy. He was beyond perfect for our session. I can easily say that it was my best newborn session to date!!
We stayed down there for four days and even went to Disneyland for a day without kids (guilt? you betcha. But SOOOOOOO much fun!!!). Extra bonus was staying with Derrick’s aunt and uncle that we rarely see and getting to know them better.
Anyhoo, enough of my blabbering. Here’s the sweetest little guy from California….
The title says it all
Recent sessions who have long since gotten their photos but I’ve not had time to post. I’m winding down on wedding season and getting busy with the fall sessions. I love it!!!
it’s cute and scary and makes my heart jump just a little bit

I LOVE family images like these.

(so cute I had to shout)
these kids were SOOOO fun!!!!
makes me laugh hysterically
This was such a fun wedding!! Alex and Kristine were so relaxed. You could tell they were enjoying their wedding day.
Their ceremony was at St. Rose Church here in Longview. They had a pizza place from Seattle come to cater the reception. Let me tell you future brides, THAT was the coolest idea ever. It was amazing and oh sooooo yummy.
Between the beautiful church, the details, the fun reception, and two wonderful people getting married, I’d say it was a perfect day.
CONGRATS Kristine and Alex and thank you sooooo much for having me document your important day.
And since I’m a terrible writer let’s get to the photos already!!
such gorgeous gals!!!
I asked them to look “GQ”
This is her dad taking a picture of them.
