This has been the busiest November and December I’ve EVER had. I’m so incredibly thankful and blessed to have worked with so many amazing people. I’d love to do a blog post of each and every single session but I’m pretty sure it would be impossible for me. So I decided to post one (or two) from some of my favorite sessions the last two months. And yes, I photographed many more families than this (see, told you it’s been busy!!!).

As you know, I often choose the silliest photos as my favorites. I can’t help it. I love the looking smiling ones just as much but when I capture something funny, I have to post it. 😉

Enjoy!!!

“you forgot a left turn back there!!!”    (backseat driver)

I’ve photographed this beautiful family a few times over the past few years. I absolutely ADORE them. This was their first family session since having little miss C.

Aren’t they perfect??!!!

(p.s. for those of you looking for color combo ideas, THIS is perfect!!!)

I absolutely adore this family!!  We met up at Lake Sacajawea (a favorite location of mine) and had a family photo session for them.

I was so incredibly happy that we had the session on a day when the weather was perfect. Like right now it’s 60 degrees outside and sunny!

Oh how I’ve missed this beautiful weather. I can’t wait until I can start doing most of my sessions outside!!!

Thanks “H” family for a wonderful time. I hope you love your photos!!!

FAVORITE!!!

This family came from Vancouver to have their session with me. I was beyond thrilled!!

I loved everything about this session. The weather was perfect, they were absolutely beautiful and their son was hilarious. I think he’s smarter than me!! He could already recognize most of his letters and he could count. At two years of age, he blew me away. The parents must be doing a pretty good job! 🙂

They are expecting baby boy number two within a couple of weeks. They wanted me to document their family before the baby arrives.

Thanks so much for having me do your photos! I hope you enjoy the preview!

“I hear him, mama”

sb5Thank you so very much for choosing me to do your photos. I truly enjoyed myself!!

I’ve known this family since I was in diapers.  Mr. and Mrs. B were very good friends of my parents when I was just a little squirt. I have very fond memories of going over to their house and playing with their kids. Yesterday I got the opportunity to see them all again after all these years. The kids have grown up to be beautiful adults and now Mr. and Mrs. B are grandparents (the best thing as I’ve heard from my own parents time and time again).

Of course since I DID know them when I was little, Mrs. B had to share some stories about me when I was little. Let’s just say I wasn’t the easiest, sweetest child there was.  😉

To the B family, I’m so grateful that you asked me to do your portraits. I love you guys and I hope you enjoy your preview!!!

b4wmrsis she not the cutest little girl you’ve ever seen??

I squealed after seeing this darling face. She’s a photographer’s dream child.

She actually sat down for a little bit for me to capture these images. Of course we did have to make a few animal sounds to get those smiles, but shhhh, don’t tell anyone my secrets. 😉
