Okay I apologize in advance for the image overload. Seriously baby “L” is always too stinking cute for his own good. I first met him when he was just a couple of weeks old. You can see his newborn session here. I can’t believe how quickly time has passed since he was born. I think I get emotional just like parents when it comes to photographing little ones. I’m so glad his mama brought him in to do his session.

He was perfect.

First Session in my studio!!! Kelso, WA newborn photography

This couple came all the way from Vancouver for a session with me. I’m always so flattered when people call me from Vancouver and Portland! We originally were going to do the session in Vancouver, but ended up doing it in my new studio. It’s not quite finished, but it was put together enough to have a session. They put me at ease and made me feel good about my new space. It’s coming along quite nicely and I will show photos as soon as it’s all done!

Little Miss “S” is seven weeks and an absolute DOLL. Normally I do newborn sessions earlier since they sleep better, but she was a perfect angel. We went out to the park to get some nice outdoor family photos and then brought her back in studio to get the rest. Within minutes we had these beautiful images.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful session. I am so excited about these images and excited about my first in studio session!!

She did this the first try. Did I mention she was perfect!!! Look at those perfect little lips…. sigh.

So I got my studio set up, got the lighting perfect, got the kids dressed and all of a sudden Mr. I decided he did NOT want to wear his costume. I tried to coax. I tried to bribe. I tried all the tricks in the book. He was not having it. It’s hard enough to get his photo, but this takes the cake. I took the other kid’s pictures first, then encouraged him to join in.

He truly is a cowardly lion when it comes to certain things. Don’t worry, I only let him cry for a few minutes and then I gave up and took his costume off. I think the last one is going on my wall. It’s just perfect!!!

There’s no place like home….

yup, he’s always happy. Seriously.
