So today is the first day of my “vacation.” I’ve taken eight days off and am done editing everything (with the exception of one wedding I shot last week). Anyhoo, so now that I’m finally free from work I’m actually wanting to get my blog updated. My parents always told me that there is no “down” time for me.

So the coffee’s brewing and Christmas music is playing and I’m going to show you some photos from the last couple of months of beautiful people.

Also, THANK YOU to friends, family, and clients who believe in me. I got a little teary-eyed the other night thinking about how there’s no way humanly possible I could do what I do without the love and support of you all. I’m so grateful that my business has boomed and I’m able to do what I love. And do it so much that I run out of time to blog the beautiful images I’m taking!!

Anyhoo, sorry about the sappy moment. I’m grateful. Truly.

Here’s beautiful people….

These two were made for each other. They were constantly laughing during their session and enjoying each other’s company. It was so sweet to watch how they interact together.

Congrats on your engagement and thank you so much for having me do your photos!!!! Can’t wait till your gorgeous December wedding!!!

Totally love this shot!

(and no, there’s no underlying reason or deep thinking behind this photo.

My photography isn’t that deep. I just take pretty photos and love photographing people.)

😀

This beautiful couple are getting married next July 24th, 2010. They wanted something unique and different for their engagement photos, so I scouted out a brand new top secret location for their session. I’ve learned that I work best when faced with different environments. I think these turned out great and we had an absolute blast getting these photos.

Enjoy the preview!

Thanks so much for a wonderful session. I hope you love your photos as much as I do!!

I have to admit, this post has a few more photos than I normally show. I couldn’t help it… You take a great looking couple, perfect weather, gorgeous location, and you’re bound to get some good photos! I had a blast photographing them and I took WAY too many photos…

We met up at one of my favorite locations – Lake Sacajawea here in Longview. It’s fitting since they’re the outdoorsy type of couple. They wanted their engagement session to reflect their style. They’re totally down to earth and quite in love. It was so sweet. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in May. I know it’s going to be just perfect.

Thanks for letting me photograph you and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak…
