So in a matter of a couple of weeks I tripled my work load, did a wedding at the top of a mountain and flew to Arizona for some sessions.

SOOOOOO, I’m catching up.

We’ve reached my superinsanelybusy spring season. I’m currently booking for mid May and have no spots left till then. I mean, if I could do sessions/editing in my sleep I would, but alas I don’t think my family wants a cranky mama.

Okay, I’m going to be totally honest with you all. A long time ago I used to say that I would never do studio work. Part of it was lack of understanding lights, backgrounds, etc. Part of it was not having the location to do it. But the major reason was that I thought I couldn’t do “fun” work in the studio. I felt as though getting good photos of people was only going to happen outside. I hated the idea of tacky backdrops and cheesy props.

I’ve been doing studio work for a few years now and have been in my studio location for a year and a half.

I have grown to LOVE it.

This session totally and completely confirmed that I could get REAL personality with a group of kids and teens in studio. They all had so much personality and made me really realize how much I can do against a simple backdrop with just a couch.

I’ve not ever photographed a four year old as sweet and as fun as this little guy. He followed my directions perfectly and sat and smiled for me whenever I would ask. He played with his dog and acted like any normal four year old (well, except for the good behavior part )

The reality of it is, this little guy is a miracle. Every day he is with us is a miracle. He was born with a rare genetic defect and his immune system is pretty low. He spends a lot of time in and out of the hospital.

Yet despite his struggles he is so full of joy.

I learned so much from this little guy. No matter what, Live EVERY day to it’s fullest.

Our dog is like a child to me. My husband makes fun of me to no end about this, but I can’t help it. I love our dog!!!! We got Nina when Miss K was just two years old. They’ve always been the best of friends. Miss K is in charge of feeding her and keeping her water bowl full. She’s a digger and a bird chaser but we love her dearly.

I can’t even begin to explain how much I love the people I work with. Every single one of these sessions was a blast and the families are just incredible.

Miss H was one of my best friends in junior high and high school. It’s so exciting to see her expecting her first little one.

I got my first camera when she was born almost eight years ago.

I’ve had a record amount of sessions lately. I’m getting closer and closer to hiring a staff member just to keep up. I would like to publicly thank my AWESOME and amazing husband for doing all the dishes and cooking. Without him, I think I would lose my mind! He’s taken up the hobby of creating delicious meals and I’m taking up the hobby of gaining weight from those meals. It’s fun for everyone! (minus the whole pants getting tighter sort of thing….)

Anyhoo, I love love LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE my clients for being not only gorgeous, but amazing people to work with. So thank you all!!!

Okay, I’m a bad blogger. I’m sorry. I SWORE I wouldn’t be one of those people, but I guess it just happens. Sadly, I’ve ran out of time in my day and not every session can be blogged. I guess I knew that time would come, but I’m having difficulty coming to grips with it. I HATE to make people feel left out if I don’t post their session.

So, that being said, I will still post as much as I can, but now being 14 sessions behind in blogging, I just have to accept the fact that it can’t happen. I have to make sure everyone gets their photos done and edited in a timely fashion as well as receiving their prints SUPER FAST like I promise.

And please please please don’t take it personal if I’m not able to post your session on here. I LOVE YOU ALL and you’re all fabulous!!!!!

Okay, on to more fun things…..

Here’s a couple of cuties from this last week. No, they’re not related whatsoever, but looking at the two next to each other, they do look like they could be!!

Miss E just turned TWO!!! I photographed her parents wedding this last September.

It’s amazing how fast she’s grown and how CUTEEEEEEEEE she is!!! (sorry, I”m gushing)

My middle son is four today. He’s quite the character and has the ability to make people smile. He gives the best hugs and crawls into my lap all the time just to “snuggle.” He’s also the most strong willed child out of our three and takes a bit extra time and care convincing him that he needs to be doing something else rather than what he’s set his mind to. You parents know what I’m talking about hehe.

He’s very into baseball and has recently taken to sleeping with his baseball glove and ball. Apparently they will get lost unless you bring them into bed He’s a collector of things and runs around with pez dispensers, his car collection, and now he’s working on collecting all things baseball related.

Happy birthday little man!!! I love you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much.

I love these two people. Not only is Lindsey a great friend, she’s also my kid’s evening babysitter. She’s the one that cleans up my kids’ messes, feeds them, bathes them, and keeps them happy while I’m away working. She also makes me cookies and sends me home with chocolate to keep me sane.

She’s been such a blessing to me and my family. My kids always look forward to going to her house and I of course adore her more than words can express. I’ve been doing mr. G’s photos since he was a newborn and I always look forward to our sessions. This was the first time Lindsey got involved and I hope she loves these photos as much as I do.

Thank you a billion times over for loving and caring for my kids.

Okay so while I do like studio stuff, my heart is really into the outdoor sessions. This is one of my best friends and her family. She’s totally cool and let’s me pick where we went.

I took them out to one of my favorite spots near my studio in downtown Kelso. It was super cold, but we managed and the boys were totally awesome. I’ve photographed the boys since they were really tiny. They are the same ages as my two sons and my oldest boy (who’s almost four) says they are his best friends. They go to the same school and we have plans of them playing ball together.

At least once a year I take my kiddos out for a fun session of the three of them. Sometimes I’m successful and sometimes I’m not. Thankfully this time I was. Of course, I couldn’t have done it without my awesome assistant Amanda. Thank you lady!!!

My daughter is how I got started in the photography business. She and my boys are still my favorite subjects. Although doing sessions with them seem to get more difficult as the years go by. I think they are done with mom taking their photos

Fun on the Farm!!

These kids live out in the country and I got the pleasure of joining them for a fun-filled morning on the farm out in Toledo.

I got to meet one of their horses “Big Boy” as he is called. He was HUGGGEEEEE. Not only was he huge, he followed us around like a puppy dog. He particularly liked my reflector. It was so funny to be followed around by a big horse!!!

This adorable 21 month old has the most beautiful sparkely eyes. I did absolutely NO retouching on the eyes. It’s completely crazy how beautiful they are. We had a fun mini session out at the Lake here in Longview. We got the good weather right before it started raining again. It was such a treat to photograph this beautiful little girl.

These kids came in with their parents for a fun family session out at the Lake. The colors on the leaves have started to change and they dressed perfectly with fall colors.

That’s what girls are made of.

This adorable family has two little girls. Youngest is 6 months and the oldest is 3 years. They are both so incredibly sweet and fun. The three year old had a blast exploring around the park. She was a bundle of energy and full of laughter. Her younger sister was so content the entire time. She didn’t even make a fuss once during the entire session!!

I’ve known this family since I was in diapers. Mr. and Mrs. B were very good friends of my parents when I was just a little squirt. I have very fond memories of going over to their house and playing with their kids. Yesterday I got the opportunity to see them all again after all these years. The kids have grown up to be beautiful adults and now Mr. and Mrs. B are grandparents (the best thing as I’ve heard from my own parents time and time again).

Of course since I DID know them when I was little, Mrs. B had to share some stories about me when I was little. Let’s just say I wasn’t the easiest, sweetest child there was.

To the B family, I’m so grateful that you asked me to do your portraits. I love you guys and I hope you enjoy your preview!!!

What summer is all about….

My good friend Kylie called me to see if I was available to do a family session while she was in Astoria vacationing with her family. Of course I jumped at the opportunity since I rarely see her (she lives about 9 hours away). Since Mondays are my day “off” I grabbed a good friend, my kiddos, and packed up the van for the beach!

After the session I took the kiddos out to the beach for some fun and then hit up an ice cream store on our way out. I’ve always wanted pictures of my kiddos eating ice cream cones, so it was quite fun to capture.

THIS is what summer is about!

D totally downed his entire cone and sat there after the other kids were finished. He was completely covered with ice cream by the time he was finished!

My baby girl is turning seven on Friday.

I can’t even believe that much time has passed since she came into this world and changed my life forever. She so much like me in so many ways, yet so much like so many other people in our family. She has her daddy’s wits, her grandpa’s brown eyes, her nana’s looks, her mama’s crazy personality, her grandma’s creativity, and her papa’s sense of humor.

She’s the reason I got started in photography and she is still my favorite subject. Although nowadays her ideas are always better than mine. For this session I just let her do her own thing.

She is an amazing little girl.

“E” is two years old!!

I’ve been photographing little “E” since he was in his mama’s tummy. He’s such a delight to photograph and it’s always fun getting to see him and his mom every time we have a session. His mom is pregnant again and I’m so excited because she’s asked me to photograph the birth!! I’ve never done birth photography before so it will be a great experience. Since she’s not due for a few more months, my excitement will have to wait.

I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy in his first few days of life (can be seen here), now three months later his blonde hair and blue eyes are mirror images of his sisters. {17 Months }

My littlest guy is getting more and more personality every day. He’s a mellow, giggly little kid. He’s the most laid back of the three little kiddos who call me “mom.” He’s big on hugs and is the first to comfort someone if they’re upset.

Lately, though he’s figured out that he has a voice. He has finally caught on to his big brothers antics and screams at him if he tries to take his toys. It’s pretty comical actually. He gives mom attitude sometimes, but for the most part he’s pretty calm.

I wuvs him.

He picked this flower from the garden and then ran away (thinking it was wrong and I would take it from him). I had to convince him that it was “okay” and he wasn’t in trouble. He’s at that age where he gets into everything and is often told he can’t have the wonderful thing he’s found.

This handsome little man is growing up so fast!! I can’t believe he’s turning two. I went over to their house for a quick session. He’s such a little charmer and has the most sparkly eyes. I did not edit them at all in these photos (I promise).

Little Miss M’s mom wanted some photos done for her one year birthday. After finding out she had an older sister, I knew exactly what kind of a session I wanted for them.

A tea party!!

I picked up this tea set a couple of weeks ago and was just waiting for the opportunity to use it. My little boys wouldn’t be too happy if I made them sit at a pink table, so it had to be for a couple of little girls.

It turned out exactly as I imagined. Thank you Mrs. C for having me do your girl’s photos. I had a blast and am very happy with the results!

My art in a gallery!!

I submitted a piece of art work for a showing in a gallery and it was accepted!

I am excited to announce that my photo of mine will be on display at the Sixth Street Gallery in Vancouver, WA.

You can see their website here.

The art will go on display on May 1st through May 30th. I know I’m a bit early announcing it, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget to share it here on my blog. I’m also not too ashamed to admit that I’m excited about it!

The theme of the show is “Staring Back: Portraiture.” I titled my photo “The Beauty of a Child.” The submission requirements called for you to interpret this theme in any way you’d like. I took it literally and submitted a photo of her staring back. Unlike some artists, I’m not too deep into the meaning of my photos. I do tend to like serious photos versus smiling photos since only some of our emotion is smiling. It’s interesting to me to see serious faces of children since children are often depicted laughing or smiling.

Anyway, enough of that serious business. Here’s the photo…

These kids were seriously perfect.

I don’t think I’ve ever photographed kids this well-behaved before. I kept teasing the mom about her amazing kids, but she reassured me that they aren’t always so perfect. I think my kids should learn some behavior skills from them. They are all simply beautiful and get along great with each other.

Thanks to the mom for this wonderful session. It totally made my day!!

My three monkeys…

Taking photos of my kids seems like an easy task, but actually they’re my worst clients. They were all born with a camera in their face and I think they’ve grown quite tired of being photographed. It seems as though they are completely against the idea of mommy taking a nice photo of the three of them together.

I took them out for a “quick 15 minute session.” Of course that’s how long I told the hubby it would take.

I was wrong.

Very, very wrong.

I tried every trick in the book and am convinced they have heard it all.

Anyhoo… this is the best I could get. Not smiling, but at least looking (albiet in different directions, but I will take what I can get).

The next frame was this.

I love little bare feet. I’ve been wanting a shot like this for quite some time, so I’m glad they cooperated.

Spring is finally here!!

I’ve been waiting patiently for the sun to finally make it’s appearance here in the Great Northwest. We had a very long Winter and I’m looking forward to being outside more often. Yesterday and today were especially beautiful. As I’m typing this, my hubby is mowing the lawn and the smell of the fresh cut grass is pouring into the house. It’s such a wonderful time of year.

Here’s a couple of Mr. D. He’s now almost 15 months old. Time sure flies by!

My dad says this about kids quoting my very wise grandmother.

I’ve found this to be true in my life. No matter how many kids I’ve had during different stages, it was usually one more than I felt I could handle. Now with three kids, I often feel like I need ‘just one more hand’ to get them all wrangled together. Having three kids and two hands always proves to be an interesting experience when grocery shopping (or doing anything that requires running around town). The baby is usually on my hip, Tinker holds onto my pocket and Little Miss usually knows she needs to keep close. I don’t worry about her too much. According to her she’s practically grown up anyway.

Course as crazy as I feel with my kiddos at times, I still love kids. I think I’d have a dozen more if it weren’t for the whole financial/space issue. Though when I see moms with multiple kids, I wonder how on earth they manage. I know my friends with only one or two wonder how I do it.

I just tie a rope, hold on, and enjoy the ride.

She actually said that to me as I was posing her for these shots. She then giggled.

Silly kid.

When she was 18 months I took her to a model scout to see if they thought she could be a child model (don’t make fun, she was my first kid). It turned out to be a scam, so I never got her involved. Often people will say that she looks like she could be one, so I guess she’s picked up on that idea. She’s got a good self esteem. No problems there.

She’s losing teeth like crazy so she’s at that awkward smile stage. She let her Uncle Craig pull a tooth out yesterday while we were at a birthday party. She didn’t even flinch. She’s a tough cookie. Of course after her tooth was out she went around the room collecting money from grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Turns out she’s even smarter than I thought!

Trying new processing today. Let me know if you like it. Some days I’m just not in the mood for black and whites or super bright colors. I won’t be getting rid of those any time soon, but it’s fun to play around.

Little Miss C

Miss C and I had a quick 15 minute session together yesterday. She’s independent and cute as cute can be. At one point she started getting sassy with me (which honestly I didn’t notice since I have a little girl of my own and it’s common). Anyhow, her mama said “you need to apologize to Miss Jenica.” To which Miss C said “Miss Jenica I apologize for being rude and I would like to ask for your forgiveness. Could you please forgive me?”

I almost melted into a puddle right there.

She was so genuine and sincere in her apology. Her mom and dad are teaching her well! I know quite a few adults who could learn this lesson (myself including). How often we don’t admit when we’re wrong and ask for forgiveness. She did it right away and without hesitation.

Sometimes I learn some great lessons from those that are small.

Little “E” – Portland, OR kids photography

I got the chance to photograph Little “E” at the Portland State University campus in downtown Portland. I’ve been photographing little “E” since his mama was pregnant with him and I did her maternity pictures. He’s now a year and a half and cute as ever. His dad attends the college there at Portland State, so it was perfectly fitting to do the session in the common areas. “E” looked like a little college student. It was so cute watching him play and laugh!

Thanks M for letting me photograph one of my favorite little guys. I had a fun time hanging out with you and will definitely be coming to Portland more often!

These boys are a riot!

I’m friends with their mom and we do their pics every few months. I get a kick out of photographing these boys since they know me so well. Mr. D kept asking where Mr. I was (my son). They are buddies and we get together as often as we can. Both boys are the same ages as my boys so it’s really fun to watch them grow. Baby “T” just turned a year old this week. Mr. D turned three a few weeks ago. They are too cute!!

Tinker

My middle son’s nickname is “Tinker.” It’s short for stinker.

His true passion is baseball (and football, and soccer, and anything and everything to do with a ball and throwing). Tinker often gets into trouble playing ball in the house and hitting brother and sister with whatever ball he has. It’s an ongoing battle we have with him, but I’m hoping to channel that energy into something more positive. So on Friday before play group I took him to the local ball field to let off some steam doing what he does best. With the baby strapped to my back and a camera in hand, I let Tinker do his thing.

That’s what boys are made of….

Mr. J was a delight to photograph. I got the pleasure of photographing him last week. These are the sweetest moments and they pass all too quickly. It was just a year ago that my little guy was born. I’m not ready to have another, so I’m thankful that lately I’ve been getting to borrow sweet little babies so I can photograph them. They are just too precious. I think I’d have a dozen if it weren’t for the whole laundry thing…

I also did a few photos of Mr. J’s big sister while Mr. J was eating. She was dressed in her princess attire and I don’t think I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing such a beautiful princess. She totally stole my heart.

Miss Sassy Pants… Longview WA children’s photographer

This last Christmas season was extremely busy and I got so caught up with work that I didn’t take much time to do photography just for ME. So a couple of weeks ago I borrowed my favorite model and took her out for a fun session. I let her do her thing, which includes her goofy faces and her being a nut case. No idea where she gets that from…

I had some plans going into it, but once we started having fun, my plans went out the window and I got to photograph just for fun. She and I had a blast and I felt like a little girl all over again. We chased each other through the fields and I kept teasing her and calling her “miss sassy pants.” She would laugh a great big belly laugh and then strike another “sassy pants” pose.

These handsome young men were a kick in the pants. They were little charmers and had no problems smiling for me. I don’t even think they noticed I was there since they were having so much fun. The beach is a perfect spot for kid’s photos. They get to throw sticks in the water and chase each other. They get to dig in the sand and get all dirty. Moments like these are perfect and I get to be the lucky one that gets to capture them.

A day at the beach….

I met up with my sister in law for a play date at the beach with our kiddos (and our cameras in tow of course). K was in school, so it was just me and the boys. I wanted to get some pics of Mr. D for his first birthday. Course he was more interested in the sand than smiling at mom, but he had fun. Mr. I was in heaven with all the sticks to throw. It’s not often he gets to throw things and not get in trouble for it.

The flooding caused the entire beach layout to change with all the extra driftwood. It was calm and clear and a perfect day.

Miss K came running out of school today exclaiming “you’ll NEVER guess what happened to me at school today!!!!” I stood there thinking it must have been really amazing for her to be so excited. She went on to explain that she’d been selected to be student of the week. I asked her how she got that priviledge and she said “I just thought that I wanted it and thought really hard and all of a sudden they picked me!”

She gets to write a story about herself and bring a show and tell item. A huge deal nowadays because “ONLY students of the week get to do show and tell” she explained to me. She’s bringing her new “eyeclops” magnifying glass she got for Christmas. It magnifies things 400 times and is “really cool” as she puts it. I had to laugh at my little girl because on her about me page she put that her favorite book was the National Geographic magazine. I think we have a future scientist on our hands.

I love this little girl more than words could ever explain. She’s way beyond her years….

My serious boy…

My middle child is the most emotional of my three kids. He can be hot or cold depending on how he feels at any particular moment. He is as sweet as he is sour. One moment he wants his mama and will hug me like he hasn’t seen me in years and the next moment he’s putting cookies in the toaster or throwing things at his little brother. He’s cuddling on my lap as I type this and I’ve become very emotional lately about how quickly my kids are growing up. My tiny one will be turning a year old in two weeks and Mr. I will be three soon. I only have a few more years to have them home with me before they head off to school. I’ve often been accused of being a little crazy by taking so many photos of my kids, but it’s my only way of freezing time. My only way of remembering exactly what they looked like. I want to capture every face, every emotion that they experience.

Oh how I love this family!!

I’ve been photographing the T family since Mrs. T was pregnant with baby G over a year ago. I did her maternity session, her newborn session and G’s four month session. I can’t believe how much she’s grown! She just celebrated her first birthday a few weeks ago. Even though it was snowing/raining at the session, we still managed to have a great time. They were such troopers with me making them do crazy things in the snow. I think having the snow made it that much more special. We’ve had a crazy winter here and it’s not very often that you see snow on the ground in the parks in Longview.

Baby it’s cold outside – The R Family

I met the R family out in Kelso for a fun (and REALLY cold) family portrait session. They are old family friends and Mrs. R is quite the photographer herself. We have traveled the world together as our husbands were both in the Army together. We were stationed in South Korea at the same time as well as in Hawaii. My middle son (mr. I) is 10 days older than her oldest daughter Miss N. My tiniest son (mr. D) is 8 days older than her Miss K. How weird is that?!!!

We’ve already decided it’s going to be a pre-arranged marriage for both of them since we already like the in-laws. Mr. I kept talking about Miss N, so we think they might decide to get married on their own anyway. Wishful thinking, right?!!

Anyway, they were adorable and quite the troopers when the temperature was only 20 degrees outside. Thank goodness for hot chocolate bribes

I did a quick mini session with these adorable girls out at their family property in Longview. They were brave little souls and endured the freezing weather just an hour before it started raining. Thankfully we caught the good weather and were able to do photos outdoors. I had fun processing these and they have a sort of vintage feel. It was a great session!

We went out to my brother and sister-in-laws place for a lazy Sunday afternoon. My kiddos had a blast playing on their property. They picked flowers and played in the leaves. Declan got to crawl around on the gravel – he thought that was pretty cool. It was unusually warm for November (and not to mention dry) so I decided to snap some outdoor pics of the kids. I think they tolerated me fairly well this time since I haven’t bugged them for photos since Halloween. I didn’t get any smiles from Mr. I, but at least he would look at me without crying. In hindsight I should have tried to get a pic of them together.I think my kids will be the only kids in the history of the world with more photos of them individually than of them together…

this cost me a piece of candy. Yes, I do pay her for her modeling work

Studio Photos – The “G” kids

I met the G family at their house in Kelso for an in-home studio session. Normally I do outdoor photos for kids over six months, but after three days of non-stop rain, it just wasn’t going to happen! So we set up shop in their living room.

It was crazy trying to wrangle the three of them to get photos, but amazingly we managed. They seemed to have a good time, even though I tortured them with goofy faces and crazy sounds. All in all I think it was a success!

Little Mister “E” – 14 month old toddler session

This little guy melted my heart. He was ALL boy and a fun little guy at that. He automatically went towards the dirt as soon as we got to the park. It was so cute!! Here he was surrounded by all sorts of slides and swings and he just wanted to play in the dirt. His mom was totally relaxed and just let him do his thing. It was the perfect lifestyle session. I got a few smiles out of him, but for the most part he was a pretty focused, serious guy.

We met up at Horseshoe Lake park in Woodland, WA. I love this location. It’s perfect for all sorts of sessions. They have the water, the park area, a field, and plenty of trees. It’s also close to downtown so it’s easy to do “urban” sessions as well.

The greatest gifts…

Yeah, I post pics of my kiddos way too much. I can’t help myself… I was bored on a Saturday afternoon, so I bribed Miss K to let me take her photos in her pretty pink sweater. She thankfully puts up with me and allows me to pester her for a few minutes at a time. I usually just let her do her thing and she makes wild faces at me. Sometimes I catch that quiet moment where she’s just sitting there and thinking. Other times I can say silly things and she’ll laugh.

I love this little girl very much. As much as she can get on my nerves for being just like me, I love her dearly. I’m so grateful God gave me such a beautiful, smart, and fun little girl. My children are the greatest gifts God has ever given me.

I met this little guy at Longview Community Church right across from Lake Sacajawea. He was such a doll and had a fun personality. He warmed right up and gave me a ton of great smiles. He’s at that busy age of fifteen months where he wants to run and explore everything. I bet he keeps his parents on their toes!

These sessions are when I truly enjoy photography. It’s so much fun to try and capture the personality of a little one. It’s really rewarding being able to photograph a real smile. Thanks to the mom and dad for letting me capture this time in little “J”‘s life.

Amazing eyes – The “B” Family

These little girls just melted my heart. Both of them had the sweetest dispositions and were so fun to be around. To top it off, both of them had the most striking eyes I’ve ever seen. Their mama is a knockout, so it’s no wonder where they got their looks. Their daddy’s gonna have to lock them in a closet once they get old enough. Those boys will be calling in no time!! Maybe I should seal the deal and arrange marriages with my boys to these girls. With parents as cool as theirs, it might be a good idea.

I’ve known the mom since we were in school together. We ran track at Kelso High. Ahhh, those were the good old days. Now I get my work outs by chasing down little kids and acting like a nut case to get them to smile at the crazy lady with a camera.

Twice the fun – the R family

Yup, it’s TWINS!!!

I met this beautiful family out here in Longview by the lake. We had a great time! These little boys kept me on my toes the whole time. They were SO active. It was fun seeing how they were so different from each other. I thought I had it rough with one toddler, but I can’t imagine having TWO to chase around all the time. Their parents are quite the troopers. The boys were completely adorable. As active as they were I could tell why mom and dad were smitten with them.

On Tuesday I got to meet a few kids out on the Coweeman river to do some fun shots!

We drove for about a half hour to get to the perfect spot and it turned out to be well worth it. These are the sessions where I truly love being a photographer. Not only were these kids adorable, they were really great in front of the camera. Babies and kids photography is by far my favorite. I do enjoy weddings, families, and events, but THIS is what I truly love to do.

Six and Six months…

My babies are growing so fast!! I photograph them all the time and I still can’t believe how big they get in between sessions. Miss K just turned six this last week and will start the first grade in the fall. Baby D just turned six months. Where did the time go?

I took them outside for an unplanned session in my front yard. Thankfully they all cooperated and amazingly I got a photo of them all together looking at the camera! I didn’t even have to bribe them this time.

Course I DID tell Tinker that Mickey Mouse was inside my camera…

So watcha think… any of them look like their mom??
