I lost my dad (Jenica's Grandpa) to cancer almost 10 years ago. We treasured those last few months with him. I'm thankful I have those memories. We just took it one day at a time. I just found out yesterday that my dad may not have much longer, I am only 22, I JUST turned 22 last week. I am in no way ready for him to go, but the cancer just keeps spreading, and my mom is just as sick. :( Thank you for sharing this, I need to remember to be thankful for what time I do have left with them.
