As much as I’m glad to have life go back to normal after the crazy holidays, I’m going to miss it when the year finally ends. It’s been so much fun going to our families’ houses for Christmas. I enjoy the time spent and all the really good food. I think I may have to go up a pant size, but it’s okay. I now have 360 more days to shed it off till next year.

The kids had a wonderful time and I think I may have to start building more shelves to store all the goodies they got. Course after all the stacks of presents they received, they’re still content playing simple things. Miss K got a plastic whistle in one of her gifts and it’s become a favorite.

I got a brand new pair of jammies. The hubs and I exchange jammies every year as our presents. Mine are pink and polka dotted (he knows me well). He also surprised me by folding all the laundry and putting it away. For those of you who don’t know me well, laundry is something I struggle with. I have no problem getting it washed, but getting it folded and put away becomes difficult for me. So for him to do all of it and put it away (five million pairs of socks and all) he’s now my hero. I love him!

All in all it was a great vacation.

Though I took hundreds of pictures through the last week, I’m only going to share one for now.

This is my Christmas tree lights….

Have a happy New Year!

I’m the SAME exact way with my laundry too! What a nice gift! Vancouver, WA is my hometown and the year I move away it snows a million inches there. So jealous and sad that I’m missing it! 😀
    Happy New Year!

  • Such a neat way to photograph a Christmas tree. Love it.

  • I agree with you on the laundry! Yuck! But oh what a beautiful image from your tree!!! Love it!

  • Aww we exchange jammies every year too! I am wearing mine now! And mine are green with white polka dots!! lol And I think your hubby is my hero too. I struggle majorly with the laundry too so don’t feel alone. I didn’t used to. Just once I had kids. I can wash wash wash, just please don’t expect me to get it folded. And if I do miraculously get it folded, expecting me to get it put away just isn’t going to happen LOL! LOVE the shot of the tree lights! Very cool!
